Additional Information

I have enjoyed working in the mental health field whether it be in a mental health clinic to a hospital. Going through my years of nursing, I have seen & worked with children from age 8 years to 17 years with a multitude of mental health illnesses. My ability to remain calm as I hear a 10 year old tell me how " it felt to knife someone." Using the many skills learned in nursing school, & working with my co workers taught many non book skills. My hero who has died from Lou Gehrig's, was able to sit in his office & in a matter of 15 minutes " teach a college course in watching, listening, doing."

Hospice has been my forte over the years. I was awarded employee of the month 3 times & employee of the year at the Staples Hospital by a hospice patient & wife.

I work to provide the best nursing care to keep pain as low as possible with meds, diversion, & of course fun.

Patch Adams is my hero.
