I worked in a locked wing of patients who had been sent for their safety & treatment, care after becoming violent due to severe alcohol intoxication, mental health episodes including but not limited to hallucinations, episodes of grandeur, verbal threats to staff & patients with potential for physical outburst. Also worked in a transitional locked wing of patients who have gone through care, medications as needed, social education before being released to group homes, own home with community resources that have been set up . I went through the certification course for psychiatric safety while at the hospital.

Utilizing the staff & resources available at that time taught me to be fast, proficient & work effectively as a team. Followed all protocols to provide effective care. The hospital has expanded into a top notch hospital in the still small community with multiple providers utilizing their skills.
