• Manages the work operations of the garage
• Supervises and works with mechanics engaged in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of various types of motor vehicles and/or motorized equipment .
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and drive vehicles to determine if they need to be repaired or have been repaired properly.

• Review and update maintenance schedule for vehicle fleet, including tracking cost and/or maintaining inventory database.
• Determine when it is no longer cost effective to repair vehicles or equipment.
• Responsible for the titles and registration of all old/new vehicles and equipment.
• Communicates and solves vehicle problems for all County departments
• Attends biweekly meetings with EKOS to manage/update maintenance system and data base

• Performed skilled mechanical work involving the maintenance,repair and servicing of County vehicles and equipment
• Distributed and observed the balance/ progress of the work load among mechanics
