Summary

Over 20 years of management experience working with teams of up to 125 associates, comprised of Maintenance, Engineering, IT, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production personnel. Safety is my number one priority. Established and actively participated in Safety Committees, conducted or participated in safety audits, accident or near-miss investigations, composed Job Safety Analyses, and ensured Safety Work Orders were generated or completed to address existing and/or potential hazards. Quality is second only to safety. Using DMAIC tools, I have worked extensively with QA and QE personnel to identify root causes of nonconformances and develop control plans to prevent recurrence. Productivity is critical to the success of any business. I have worked to develop budgets, reforecasts, and measured results to ensure we are operating within the confines of established parameters. Conducted weekly business unit updates, with mid-month reviews, to ensure labor, spending, and materials align with targets (absorption-based accounting). Certified Lean Leader, Six Sigma Green Belt. Certification: 9/11/2001. SAP Super User. Conducted training with multiple sites, developed training aids, and provided support for the Production Module. Lead MDI and shift startup meetings to communicate safety awareness, quality control, changeovers, upcoming PMs, and production needs. Supply chain management, including procurement, vendor management, and customer service. Focused efforts around hitting milestones, and maintaining open channels of communication between interested parties. Extensive project management experience, including multiple facility expansions and machine installations, (wrote justifications for all the above, including return-on-investment data). Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Computer literate in all MS Office software, ERP systems, eMaint, HeyDo, and others. Motivational leader and organizational problem-solver with advanced supervisory, team building and customer service skills. Experience stepping into roles and quickly making positive changes to drive company success. Focused on using training, monitoring and morale-building techniques to maximize employee engagement and performance.
