I originally started with the city of Sarasota part-time December 2011 I started as a parking garage attendant then applied for a parking enforcement officer where I dealt with difficult situations in the public writing tickets for parking in fractions also maintaining a daily schedule where time management was very important customer service was very important in this job maintaining composure was important then I transferred departments still with the city of Sarasota to the Parks and Rec Department where I started out with the landscape division then transferred to the maintenance division where I have been since then maintaining 52 parks and Facilities through the city repair and maintenance of all sorts using hand tools cement mixers power tools jackhammer fasteners installing benches maintaining playground equipment Sloan valve Plumbing installing toilets removing toilets installing sinks hand dryers soap dispensers toilet paper dispensers Plumbing electrical hanging lights maintaining HVAC hanging doors locks restroom facilities partitions repairing sidewalks boardwalks installing barbecue grills concrete work drywall repair Etc

I cleaned a medical building approximately 30 medical rooms with seven offices and a physical therapy room with two large waiting rooms and elevator and four large restrooms I had to clean and maintain all stainless floors carpet tile linoleum vacuum floor scrubber floor polisher steam clean floors multiple Cleaning Solutions I was the key holder to the building and worked here for approximately 4 to 5 years on the night shift

I was the owner operator of Chuck's handyman service for about 4 to 5 years taking residential calls from citizens around the area requesting handyman services such as drywall repair hanging doors painting trim work install lighting and fans install new faucets any repairs General repairs that need to be done

I worked for Fiore Construction on and off through a span of 10 years as a Punch-Out man before they would close on a house I would go through and take care of any drywall patchwork trim work hang doors hang lighting appliances Plumbing work tile work painting fix or repair anything that needed to be done before the house was sold

During this time I wired homes in new construction when all the other work was done in the home we would come back and do the punch-out and add the plates and lighting and fans, and appliances and add all the final touches to the electrical portion of the job I would also assist in the AC Department with ductwork installing air handlers and compressors

I owned a pressure washing business called Big Blue pressure washing for approximately 3 to 4 years pressure washing homes driveways sidewalks anything that the customer requested also did detail work for local power companies maintaining their Fleet
