  • I serve as the security coordinator for the National Governors Association (NGA), Congressional Black and Latin American Caucus annual meetings are held and hosted every year at the Apple Carnegie Library. NGA invited every Governor of the United States to this event along with their security detail. The event has the potential of having all 50 governors in attendances. In the previous years, there were at least 30-40 Governors in attendance. As security coordinator, my responsibilities are, but not limited to, coordinating a walk through of the entire facility for the dignitaries’ security detail. This walk through provides a thorough tour of the Apple Carnegie grounds, which includes all hall and breezeways, entry/exit points. Also special areas/rooms which can provide, if needed, shelter in place or cover spaces for the dignitaries and their detail in case of eminent danger of the dignitaries or their staff.
