- Held the titles Co-Chairman, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Executive Officer.
- The company started with one office in New York City with six employees and grew to 55+ employees by 2008 with three offices: Geneva, Switzerland, Stamford, Connecticut, and Athens, Greece. The company was known as one of the leading ship brokering companies in the world.
- In 1999, MJLF & Associates Inc. established a new joint venture company in Singapore called Island Shipbrokers Company, now part of ICAP Shipping International.
- In 2001, I was the Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of MJLF Geneva, Switzerland, a subsidiary of MJLF & Associates. The company specialized in transportation logistics, and shipping consulting for European clients. I was responsible for all phases of company development including hiring, strategic planning, budgeting, compliance with Swiss Immigration law, and financial auditing.
- In 2004, I was the Co-Founder of MJLF Greece, another subsidiary of MJLF and Associates. This company, much like MJLF Geneva, was created to develop direct contact with shipping clients in the Eastern Mediterranean area.
