Working under the scope of an LPN in the role of a respitory therapist under an RN's oversight. As a Nurse clinician I set up equipment (I.E Cpap's, Bi-pap's, Ventilators, High Flo) equipment on patients in Hospitals, LTC facilities, or at there home. In office I worked with a team taking trouble calls, scheduling appointments, and ordering supplies as needed for patients. At times I would be asked by a physician to go out to patients home and assess the patient, take vitals, and send report to the physician.

My position at Lincare as a Health Care Specialist envolved setting up Cpap's, Ventilators, per a doctors order. I also would set up I.N.R devices at patients home or in office and teach patients how to use the device so patients could monitor their blood while on Warfarin in the comfort of their home. Provide Patient assesments and taking vitals as needed.

As a Mental health nurse of a 18 bed unit on the Psychiatric 7th floor of the Veterans Hospital in Seattle, Wa. I worked with Registered Nurse's, LPN's and Physicians in the scope of an LPN treating Veterans with Mental health disorders, (I.E. PTSD or drug addictions). Dispensed medications per doctors orders, monitored blood glucose levels for type 1 or 2 diabetics, gave insulin per doctors order as needed. Gave vaccinations inter muscle, and for sedation during restraint of patient due to patient violent behavior to ensure safety of patient and staff.

Provided breathing treatments, assisted with ADL'S, monitored and documented patients location and activities to ensure patients safety.
