• Spearhead the development and implementation of on-prem server solutions for an operational technology (OT) network security monitoring system, enabling real-time threat detection and response.

• Developed Linux Common Access Card multifactor authentication solution for Enterprise use to clear a category I STIG finding.
• Revitalized and updated Puppet configuration management server, manifests, and benchmark files in order to bring ~500 Linux hosts into security compliance as prescribed by the RMF and STIG process.
• Managed ~700 host, enterprise mixed-distro Linux environment infrastructure services and and wide variety of customer requests at the tier 3 level.
• Analyzed G6 CIO customer's Linux needs to develop those needs as projects. This included: determining resource requirements, environmental limitations, considering security posture, as well as facilitating procurement of necessary equipment & software.
• Consistently updated customers and senior leaders on progress and roadblocks.

• Maintained server & network infrastructure for an air-gapped mixed Windows and multi-version RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Supported and configured RHEL 6 & 7 server and workstation versions. Ground-up installations & STIG compliant configuration implementations, RHEL 7 compute cluster builds, Centrify PAM Authentication Service configuration.
• Windows 10 and Server 2012r2 Active Directory domain configuration, troubleshooting, and administration. Hyper-V, Group policy, and DNS configuration & maintenance.
• Engineered, and installed new Cisco network environment with C9200L switches to replace an aging layer 2 network infrastructure.

• Traveled to remote customer locations and installed Dell server hardware (FX2s, R&FC630/640s) within Dell chassis, preparing them for deployment in VMware vSphere environments (ESXi & vCenter) and Windows Server (2012 & 2016).
• Independently racked, powered, and cabled equipment, leveraging strong hardware and network troubleshooting skills to ensure efficient deployment within tight deadlines.
• Utilized knowledge of Cisco switches (Cisco IOS) for seamless network integration.
• This role also required implementation of Security Test Protocols, infrastructure install planning, Active Directory & Linux Directory Services knowledge, constant team-work, and occasional workstation configuration & troubleshooting.

Warner Robins, GA:

• Engineered, maintained, and deployed with small enterprise network/server packages to provide up to three hundred users core services in austere deployed environments. Maintained ~98% up-time in support of ISR functions.
• Provided core functional server services including: web, mail (exchange), active directory, file/print servers, WSUS, Backup services, AtHoc, HBSS, DHCP, as well as enterprise and client firewalls. Also configured and maintained EMC SANs, VMware vSAN, and Cisco switches.

Honolulu, HI:

• Managed world-wide, multi-site, multi-domain DoD (AFIN) MS active directory & Exchange environments with 300+ domain controllers supporting 730,000 users. Troubleshot server issues and customer tickets as well as Implemented DoD STIG compliance.
• Part of the tier-3 team responsible for resolving complex server problems, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing solutions to ensure optimal server performance and uptime.
