• Oversee the operation and maintenance of marine propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with vessel management and other departments to plan and execute maintenance schedules, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, government regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.
• Participate in emergency response drills and provide technical support during critical situations.
• Proficient in conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and performing routine maintenance and repairs.
• Skilled in coordinating and leading a team of engineers and technicians to ensure efficient operation and adherence to safety standards.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to marine engineering and environmental regulations.
• Responsible for watertight integrity and emergency equipment associated with firefighting and flooding.
