- Designed drawings of mechanical and electrical parts that were used on power poles in AutoCad.
- Created a formula to determine transformer power ratings based on ambient temperature. This was with accordance of IEEE standards.
- Examined transformer impedances to determine where voltage drop was significant.
- Worked with System Engineers for switching orders to share load between substations during maintenance.
- Created Excel spreadsheets to input substation relay data. This data was used by System Engineers to look at peak loads.
- Inspected power poles for weak spots that could cause the system to fail.
