1977-1984 United States Army Obtaining the rank of E-5 Honorable Discharge.

1985-1996 Lockheed Martin: work on the construction of Copperhead missile and work on construction of Navigation Pod for F16 and F15 Fighters. Reason for leaving layoff due to end of military contract.

1996-2013, Utiliquest LLC : Utilized field equipment to locate underground gas, cable, water, phone, and power lines. After a short period of time, I was promoted to Senior Locator, responsibilities insisted on assisting technicians in troubleshooting difficult locates, help with training of new technicians and coordination of timely locates with a variety of contractors. 2007 I became Damage Investigator and Trainer responsible where for gathering and verifying facts pertaining to the damage of the facility and assesses company’s liability, assess root cause of way damage occurred and what can be done to prevent reoccurrence, complete written damage report, include photographs, measurements, and locations. Train new locators to interpret maps and utilized field equipment for locating lines. Observe and verify knowledge of technicians in the field of the accuracy of completed locates are accurate and compliant with state law. Responsible for written and verbal communication required by corporate management.

2013-2015 USIC Locate technician: Located power, phone, and cable lines.

2015-2024 Atmos Energy Corporation SR Damage Prevention Technician:

I locate several areas around Lafayette as well locate all turnback’s and standby and watch on our critical gas lines when needed. I have assisted on damages determining at fault and cause of damage. I have trained new employees and coach less experienced technicians. I turn in mapping corrections when found or brought to my attention. I have a tremendous relationship with cities and Parishes that helps in preventing damages. I work with engineering and Project Specialists on surveys, depths of lines and encroachment issues that arise. I also work with Sr Account Representative in determining if we can supply gas to future customers. I assist FOC in the field with locates that our contractors are unable to locate. While working at Atmos Energy for over 8 years I have recorded no vehicle accidents or safety violations and had no at fault locate damages. I have represented company at locate rodeos taking 1st place one year and 2nd place another I also participated in the international locate rodeo in Fort Worth Texas and for safe dig month I was Louisiana Damage Prevention Ambassador Champion.
