To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you to show my interest in the San Diego Superintendent position with Eleven Western Builders. With my previous 20+ years of construction experience, I feel I am best fit for the position.
I began my full time construction career in 2006 working for my family business at Miller Construction Management. Prior to this, I went to college to play baseball at a few schools, starting at the University of California, Riverside, while also working my summer vacation breaks for my family's general construction business. When my journey in baseball had ended, I went to work for Miller Construction Management full time. Before I knew it, I was 26 years old and building my first ground up CVS Pharmacy. Along the way, I learned an extensive amount of construction knowledge from my peers and my parents. My expertise ranges from building new ground ups/TI’s for large commercial clients, such as CVS, Chase Bank, United Rentals, Chick-fil-A, Smart and Final, and 7-Eleven, all the way to a one-time commercial client such as Dance FX in Escondido, CA, as well as Certified Transportation in Escondido, CA. Each project I have managed in my career has ranged from $300K - $2M+.
Construction has been a part of my entire life. I ran my first piece of equipment at 8 years old. I remember running a backhoe and hanging on to a jumping jack, even though I needed a little help with it. I spent multiple days with my father on construction sites when I was younger, and learned from the best. Over these past 19 years, I have grown into a licensed contractor and have worked all over the state of California and Arizona successfully, with leaving clients satisfied with superb reviews. I am extremely hard working and will do whatever is asked of me in the time given. With my skill set and experience, I know I am best qualified for any position offered to me.
Sincerely,
Charles Bradley 'Brad' Miller
