· Responsible for sludge, raw water, and wastewater operations to comply with quality, industry, and regulatory standards as well as best practices.
· Responsible for collecting and processing water samples per protocols while meeting the collection and chain of custody documentation requirements.
· Operate mobile equipment, including forklifts, clamp trucks, front-end loader, and other heavy equipment to perform work duties.
· Monitor and check equipment and parts to ensure normal operation, including drive belts, chains, oil levels in gearboxes, motors, pumps, flow readers and clarifier systems.
· Responsible for regulating water flow for mill operations.
· Monitor the Sanitary Package Plant to include checking bed depth, completing testing, wasting sludge from clarifier, decanting water from Sludge Holding Tank, cleaning UV Lighting System, while documenting and keeping accurate records of daily activities.
· Responsible for startup and shut down of all area equipment as needed: river, well, emergency diesel, etc.
· Perform operator rounds and audits to ensure reliable operation of sludge and water systems.
· Retrieve and perform Lockout Tagout (LOTO) as need on area equipment.
· Perform various housekeeping, cleaning, and organizing functions with minimal supervision to ensure areas are clean and free from debris.
· Comply with all site safety requirements and procedures and perform all duties safely.
· Feed all fuel types into the fuel feed system per specifications.
· Receive, store, handle, maintain and process all fuel types, rotating stock as necessary.
· Reclaim sludge to be used as a fuel source as necessary.

· Perform operator audits and rounds on fuel conveyor systems.
· Maintain fuel conveyor system logs, documenting any equipment discrepancies.
· Escort Contractors and Vendors as required.
· Check equipment and parts to ensure normal operation, including drive belts, chains, oil levels in gearboxes, motors, pumps, and conveyor systems.
· Monitor equipment to make sure it is operating properly without leakage and unusual noises (including but not limited to pumps, motors, and conveyors).
· Perform equipment rounds and general area upkeep.
