Installed conduit and electrical equipment for line and low voltage systems. I worked in the controls department, but I have been an electrician for 20 years. I have experience in residential, commercial, industrial, electrical service and HVAC Controls.

• Worked from ladders, scaffolds and lifts to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring equipment and lighting fixtures in ceilings, on roofs and on towers.
• Installed and wired electrical transformers, service panels, and circuit breakers.
• Installed, maintained, repaired, and tested equipment for electricity generation and utilization.
• Planned layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on specifications and applicable code.

• Go to service calls; sale, install, and troubleshoot all electrical needs Including: Emergency power outages, partial power outages, Service Panel upgrades, whole house rewires, whole house re-devicing, panel restorations, LED retrofitting, adding new circuits, and electrical safety inspections
• Coordinate with city/county inspectors and SDGE Lineman
• Ensure that inspections pass the first time, so that power can be restored the same day during a service panel upgrade
• When installations are falling behind, I will focus my attention on that job and make sure to get it back on track. This includes coordinating more technicians to arrive on site, delegating, and even putting my tool bags on to get the job done.
• Repaired and installed new fixtures, wiring, circuits, and motors.
• Assisted in training apprentice electricians, sharing knowledge, techniques, and best practices for success in the trade.
• Collaborated with other tradespeople to complete complex projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Performed troubleshooting to determine issues and appropriate action to complete tasks and provide quality installations.
• Interpreted blueprints, schematics, and diagrams of project requirements and initiated appropriate electrical installations.
• Completed rough-in, termination, and underground work.

• Service work for emergency calls at locations such as Jack in the Box, Applebee’s, McDonald’s, and Residential homeowners

• Install and work on Energized/De-energized switchgear
• Work with 120v,240v,208v,277v and 480v. 1/2”- 4” EMT, Pull cans, junction boxes, switch gear, sub panels, cable trays, disconnects, and troubleshoot electrical equipment.

• Oversee the day to day operations of the electrical department
• Coordinate and assign each technician to service calls or electrical installations everyday
• Conduct safety, technical, and team building meetings three times a week

• Ran the proper 120 v wiring/ conduit for the detector equipment
• Ran/terminated CAT 6 LV wiring underneath the weighing stations for the radiation detectors
• Operated fork lift and scissor lifts.

• Primarily performed electrical work on residential remodeled homes, Tenant improvements, new construction residential, light commercial, and solar
• Add new circuits to new dedicated locations
• Fished wires through attics, crawl spaces, and behind walls with minimal drywall/plaster damage.
• Installed ceiling fans, light fixtures, recessed lighting, receptacles, Main/ sub panels, solar panels/ inverters, underground piping, and 1/2”-1”EMT
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

• Primarily worked on new construction residential custom homes, residential remodels and light commercial
