I also created a small off-grid cabin plan set, which is available for purchase under Macklin Products at Etsy.com. Other entrepreneur projects include, but are not limited to, cattle ranching, wildlife/botany education and land management, as well as handcrafted furniture and art.
Performed maintenance, repairs, calibration, and installation for a variety of hospital/medical/industrial laboratory equipment items, typically within in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas. Equipment included Millipore brand water purification systems, NuAire, Panasonic, and ThermoFisher brand incubators for IVF clinics and cellular research, shakers, ultra-low freezers, and liquid nitrogen chillers.
Forensic analysis and reports, typically for the insurance or legal industry, for a variety of commercial and residential buildings. Work included site visits in multiple States. Building assessments were often for storm damage, such as hurricane Sandy, and some international site visits for hurricane damaged hotel. Project management typically of a small team, and report writing. Also performed fire investigations and vehicle and mechanical/electrical equipment failure analysis. Work also included structural review and mechanical piping design/analysis.
Reviewed a variety of tenants' architectural and MEP design documents to coordinate with the main shopping mall building's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Performed field surveys and energy audits for various commercial tenants.
