Charlie Zicari is a Jr. Creative Executive in Development & Current Series at Disney Junior, overseeing productions such as “Ariel,” “Playdate with Winnie-the-Pooh,” “Kindergarten: The Musical," and the live stage show, "Disney Junior Live on Tour: Costume Palooza." During his formative years in New York, Charlie was involved in the development and production of several Broadway and West End musicals, including “Disney’s Newsies,” “Ragtime,” “Between the Lines,” “Maurice Hines is Tappin’ Thru Life,” and “9 to 5.” He has also helped to develop a diverse range of film and television projects at Bold Films and Hyde Park Entertainment. Charlie lives with his wife and daughter in Burbank, California.

Charlie worked as the Assistant to Tony Award-Nominated Broadway Director, Jeff Calhoun throughout the development and production of numerous commercial projects, including "Disney's Newsies," "Between the Lines," "Ghost Brothers of Darkland County," "Mata Hari at the Moulin Rouge," "Bolshoi," "Last Days of Summer," and the West End production of "9 to 5."
He was also brought on as the Assistant Director for "Maurice Hines is Tappin' Thru Life" at New World Stages and Covenant House's "Night of Broadway Stars."
LIVE! Interns assist the team by acting as production assistants during taping of the show, as well as in the production office. Interns help producers with research for various segments. Interns support the staff by answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, running errands, answering the intern email account, and other production tasks that come up throughout the day.
Charlie was the co-founder of Life in Luggage Productions, a production company designed as a platform for recent and upcoming musical theatre graduates, and served as Producer & Director for the company's inaugural productions of "Grease" and "Legally Blonde: The Musical" at The Tank Theater in Times Square.
