Starting as a sales associate, I was promoted with in six months to the position of Sales Supervisor and was then promoted a few months later to Temporary Sales Manager. I was responsible for maintaining sales quotas for myself and my team on a consistent basis and utilizing my visual merchandising skills in both a planogram and non planogram setup. During this time I assisted with both the hiring and training for all new associates and also managed all intake and processing of shipments.

Gained a great deal of skill in a short amount of time in the baking and confectionary field while consistently provided high-quality and artistic baked goods for customers. I operated and maintained industrial bakery equipment, including ovens and mixers while making large vats of both doughs and frostings while following company recipes. I complied with all health and safety codes to protect both staff and customers.

As a processor, I recorded information, shortages, and discrepancies to keep records current and accurate. Processing and constructing clothing kits and operated RF scanners to track merchandise and verify contents of containers. I also evaluated incoming shipments for quality issues and processed unacceptable materials for return.
I was hired as a busser and became interested in cross training into other roles and challenges. I began to learn prep and assisted in making sauces, marinades and dressings progressing into trimming and prepping meat and garnishes. I took on the challenge of the drama line and maintained 40 second to one minute plates as per guidelines and assisted with takeout, UberEats and Door dash orders. I enjoyed this fast paced work environment and getting to learn new roles and advance my experience.
