I am currently completing my Junior year at Wake Forest University, majoring in psychology and targeting medical school. I have been drawn to a career in medicine via a passion for serving the community, first in my hometown of Baltimore and now in Winston-Salem. I have a love of science and meeting new people, have been exposed to compelling role models, and now seek a life of service through medicine.

Wake Forest Med Infectious Disease Lab / Tumbes, Peru, June 2025

-Participated in trip to Peru led by Dr. John Sanders, Director of Infectious Disease, Wake Forest Baptist Hospital

-Accompanied ID fellows, medical residents, and medical students to learn about Peru's healthcare system in Lima and spend two eeks in Tumbes investigation ID outbreaks

-Collected specimens and performed laboratory analysis, conducted public health surveys in the filed, worked with local doctors

Physician Shadowing- Dr. Glenn Treisman, Johns Hopkins Hospital, May 2024-August 2024

-spent the Summer daily shadowing a professor of Psychiatry

-saw patients in the JHU HIV clinic, attended the JHU Lyme clinic, and saw patients in office

-accompanied Hopkins medical students and resident on daily rounds as well as weekly teaching sessions
