  • Project manager and a lead author guiding organizational white paper and webpage intended to guide policy work across the organization. Interdisciplinary project requiring coordination across 3 executing teams and 4 impacted teams. Primary lead on translating into a program of outreach to purchasers and practitioners in the carbon removal space. (In Press for March 2026)
  • Engaged with media and donors to provide subject matter expertise for interviews, documentaries, rapid response to emerging policy, and 1:1 relationship and knowledge-building
  • Managed Science & Innovation summer intern and provided training and support to junior staff.

  • Designed and led an academic research collaboration of six researchers across three countries to define environmental risks in enhanced rock weathering. Presented as poster at AGU 2024.
  • Developed organizational position on biomass based carbon removal solutions. Led a 7 person, multi-organization team (in conjunction with World Resources Institute) to run a workshop exploring environmental justice perspectives on on biomass use. Invited to present results at NY Climate Week by Clean Air Task Force.
  • Advised Fortune 500 company on BiCRS purchases, consulted on the first community guidance for biomass procurement, and acted as reviewer for BiCRS relevant GHG removal legislation and for two major DOE reports on biomass and GHG removal.

  • Served as program manager for the Roads to Removal Report, setting project updates and high-level guidance. [Recognition] Assistant Secretary’s 2022 Outstanding Achievement Award.
  • Led an 18 person team in a pre-funding stakeholder workshop to answer key technical questions about the intersections of bioenergy and soil carbon. Responsibilities included defining the scope of the workshop, recruiting the team and hiring contractor support, crafting the agenda, core questions, invited speakers list, and virtual feedback sessions. Additionally, I led speaker recruitment, trained our scribes and co-moderators, managed our facilitator and communication team, and drafted the final report document. My final deliverable was a detailed, 74 page report on learning from the session, including extensive future funding recommendations.
  • Served as the program manager for three National Lab annual operating plans. Responsibilities included coordinating with the three project teams to ensure timely reports of successes and failures, to translate the grant reporting language into concrete meetings and deadlines, to assess technical results to identify whether the team was meeting their milestones, and to report to senior management and external experts.
  • I continue to review DOE programs and grant submissions for several offices on an independent consulting basis.

  • Planned and led a national voter registration and outreach campaign. Recruited scientists from national chapters to write letters. Mobilized get out the vote actions alongside Vote Forward and the Union of Concerned Scientists' Science Rising .
  • Wrote and provided editorial reviewfor four published opinion pieces appearing in US and Brazilian outlets. Managed the full editorial process, from framing and review to publication, to elevate women scientists’ voices in global conversations on science and society.

  • Coordinated science policy trainings for society scientists with UCS and AAAS representatives.
  • Coordinated a multi-disciplinary workshop on how science can inform local environmental policy. Featured guests included expert scientists from The Nature Conservancy, a former BLM director, and current Forest Service staff. Converted workshop from a full-day field-trip to a webinar with live Q&A following Covid19 restrictions.
