Personal experience with dementia patients.
As a caregiver with Tammy, the care I gave was with a patient with dementia. She progressed rapidly and became aggressive and the daughter needed to get professional help because her mother wouldn't let anyone else care for her.
Added to experience, my father also was among those who had dementia and my sisters and I took care of him for more than 6 years before his passing a couple years ago. We administered medication along with morphine to keep him comfortable in his last days.
