Extracurricular Activities
Abandoned Animal Rescue - shelter, Every week on Tuesdays from 3pm - 5pm, I volunteer at the local animal shelter. At the shelter I work in the puppy room. I have to take the puppies out, clean the cages, play and walk the puppies, then I have to feed them and put them up for the night. 4-H projects, I grew up showing steers at Texas majors including Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston livestock show and rodeo until I graduated high school. Each year I would roughly have about 5 steers that I would have to take care of and work, wash, blow, and work hair on for a full year until they went to show at their end point. Steer Jock, After I graduated and no longer could show at Texas Majors I decided I still wanted to be in the cattle industry so I started helping out kids that went to my high school with their steer projects. I wash and watch the steers and animals for a family when they go out of town sometimes. Club Lacrosse - middie, I have been playing club lacrosse since I was 7 years old. I was a natural when I started to play, and I enjoyed playing so I stuck with it all these years. During the school year I typically practice 5 days a week on the field and 2 days a week in the gym. In summer we travel to different states to play games and during the school year we stay local. Saw 'em off, Saw 'em off is a men's organization at Texas A&M that I am a part of. In the organization we are built off the traditions of A&M. I have established lifelong friends and lessons that I am forever grateful for.
