• Provide health, safety, and environmental (HSE) support for the following areas of work in a solar
array: Inverter installations, PV panel terminations, AC and DC cable installation
• Work with the on-site senior HSE to establish their weekly work plan and priorities to meet set
objectives.
• Identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage.
• Assist in planning and executing function requirements.
• Conduct HSE training sessions including new hire orientations and daily site toolbox safety
meetings.
• Conduct daily HSEQ inspections, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Help conduct incident investigations and assist with the completion of incident reports.
• Maintain all site required documentation related to HSE (i.e., safety audits, JSAs, equipment
inspections, good catches, and training sign-in sheets).
• Ensure Compliance with applicable OSHA, PHMSA, FMCSA, EPA, TCEQ, Federal, State, and
Local Requirements.
• Assist and co-facilitate safety training, testing for all employees (HazCom, Fall Protection, Lockout/Tag out, etc.)
• Support Project Leadership in completion of incident investigations.
• Perform periodic evaluations of power tools and equipment (i.e. scissor lifts, forklifts, fall protection, laser levelers, etc.) to ensure equipment is being maintained in good working order, as applicable.
