Chase Copenhaver

Driven student with a lot of experience and motivation to pursue an Engineering career. Have excelled as a student and teammate using time management, communicative, and critical thinking skills repetitively everyday. Tutored, enhancing student success through effective thinking strategies and curriculum application. At UMSL Baseball Program, played a role in organizing impactful community events, utilizing organization skills and a commitment to sacrifice for a betterment.

All four years of my high school experience I was a member of the baseball team, claiming captain my whole senior season, and continued playing for 2 years at the University of Missouri St. Louis. In addition to baseball in high school, I played basketball for 2 years, made honor roll for all 8 semesters, graduated with cum laude, was a member of NJHS, and was fortunate enough to have 3 in depth years of engineering Project Lead the Way classes. For work experience, nearly all of it comes from a mowing business my dad and I have run since 2015. I've had to handle things like book keeping, scheduling, advertising, client communication, finances and even the mowing side of it. The only other job I have had besides that, was a washer and dryer technician to familiarize myself with some different machines and systems that I hadn't had pryor experience with.
