Volunteer Experience

As a part of one of my university courses, I engaged in eight weeks of volunteer work for a thrift store in Baxter Springs, Kansas. The store provided affordable food and household items for those in need in the community. I partnered with members of the youth group at the nearby Spring River Assembly of God church to set up a food drive, and then ferried donated items from the church to the store.
