  • S3 Battalion Operations Schools NCO, Defense Training Management System Administrator, Citi Card Manager, Primary Armament NCO and Defense Travel Administrator for the battalion (2-377 PFAR). Managed over $1M in assets.
  • Ensure candidates meet minimum criteria outlined in current FY Army Circular for USARAK (G1) when selected to attend any military school.
  • Ensure Service Member's (SMs) School packets are correct and have all necessary documentation and copies to ensure passing/acceptance on day zero of in-processing for their respective courses.
  • Ensure SM has valid and active Government Travel Card (GTCC) w/ necessary certifications. Authorize Balances, extensions, travel periods, maximum limits and limit debts. Compile delinquency reports/trackers and disseminate to leadership.
  • Ensure SM(s) have all travel arranged for him/her via Defense Travel System (DTS) from start to finish when attending/projected to attend school or field training exercises. Utilize group authorization for traveling groups of six or more SMs.
  • compile reports and give rights to users to input training data into Defense Training Management System (DTMS)
  • Report to Leadership in weekly Battalion and Staff meetings SMs current status/progress in courses, upcoming courses with suspense dates and prerequisites, delinquency reports, travel reports and GTCC percentage rates in a concise, accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure weapons and gear are properly accounted for when Companies leave/return for training rotations and combat jumps. Department of Defense (DD) and Department of the Army (DA) forms are properly filled out and accounted for. I.e Hand receipts Lautenberg agreements, weapons cards (DA 3749) Etc..
  • Schedule Routine and Preventative Maintenance with Facility Maintenance Team. Ensure Placarding is emplaced in Hazardous areas and maintain the MSDS.
  • Maintain Primary and overflow barracks for incoming and separating soldiers (+215 residential units)
  • Ensure door, locks and light bulbs are functional.
  • Ensure fire alarms, fire suppression systems and back up generators are functional, easy to access, tested and serviced during their servicing period.
  • Maintain Facility grounds, create snow management plan for the winter months and go through appropriate channels to remove derelict or abandoned vehicles from company grounds.
  • Ensure all facilities are safe, operational, hygienic and aesthetically pleasing for all visitors and SMs.
