Personal Statement

  • For years now I have had the desire to become a physical therapist due to my personal experience going through physical therapy in high school. Along with this, my experience observing and volunteering in several physical therapy clinics has further strengthened my inclination to become one. I have interacted with dozens of patients who have all benefited greatly from physical therapy, and experiencing this has filled me with excitement to think that I will be the one to help people live their best lives one day. I also have a strong academic background in exercise science to aid in my goal of being a physical therapist, and I have learned to thoroughly enjoy interacting with others in the close, intimate setting of physical therapy.
