Passionate and hands-on Mechanical Engineering student thriving in CAD environments and real-world assembly. Extensive involvement in FIRST Robotics throughout high school has provided valuable engineering skills such as electrical circuit design, 3D modeling, design processes, and physical assembly of parts. I enjoy building and modifying projects both digitally and in the physical world, and I am eager to apply my expertise to innovative engineering challenges.
Boat Team Design Project EAS 199, 09/24, Design and build a small Boat by modifying a small balsa block while finding ways to integrate a propeller, motor, and battery. Created bill of materials (BOM) for all new and used materials and produced cost analysis for all parts used. Found and documented ten design factors to test within the boat produced.
When I was in high school, I was part of a FIRST Robotics team for 4 years. During my tenure, I served as team captain for the last two years of my career in FIRST. Being on this team has given me a variety of skills, including CAD, Electrical circuits, Programming, and machining.
Now that I am in college, I am making my way into becoming part of UB SEDS. I would like to join the Avinotics section of this club, specifically the hardware team, where we design and build electrical components for the rocket, such as circuit boards that incorporate a CAN bus, gyroscope, radio transmitter, and other essential elements. This club aims to provide hands-on engineering experiences by building and launching rockets, fostering interest in space exploration, and developing technical and leadership skills in students in preparation for careers in the space industry. I hope to gain a wealth of knowledge and skills within this club by learning software called Altium Designer.
