Baking is one of my true passions, before I first started baking I didn't really have any hobbies of my own, or anything I was specifically good at. This was in 2020 and I didn't think I was good at very much at the time, I was watching some youtube at one point and found some baking video's. I had a box mix for banana bread and thought I'll try to make that, I did and it turned out pretty good. I thought that I might be able to make something from scratch, I went online and looked up a recipe, followed it strictly and it turned out really good. I thought to myself that I had finally found something that I was good at, I couldn't stop baking from then on out. All of 2020 I baked for my mom and myself and would experiment with all sorts of baked goods. I would also bake for my coworkers at least once a week throughout all of 2022 and a lot during this year as well. I have a true love and appreciation for baking and the way it can bring joy into other people's lives. For me that is the true point baking, the way someone lights up when they eat one of my baked goods.
