Though most of my work experience resides in refinery work as a boilermaker, I am always ready to learn something knew and gain experience in other departments. I am used to working both day and night shift and can adjust easily to a new schedule.
As a boilermaker for SWAT, I travel the country for Refinery shutdowns. While I do the same work as I did at previous refinery jobs, I also have gained experience breaking down and reassembling heat exchangers, heaters, product reactors, and steam boilers. As well as re-traying towers and columns.
I worked at Marathon as a boilermaker as well, doing the same work as the previous two refineries.
I worked as a boilermaker, doing the same routine maintenance and becoming even more experienced than I was while working at Phillips 66 Refinery.
As a boilermaker for a refinery, I was expected to be on site on time every day. I also was called in on weekends and had to stay late often. Because of my 3+ years experience in refineries as a boilermaker, I am comfortable bolting flanges and pulling field measurements. I also am experienced in installing pumps and pressure release valves> 10 inch in diameter amongst many other routine maintenance plant services.
As a machinist I operated lathes, turned rudder pins, rudder bushings, and propeller shafts, as well as operated welding lathes. I have experience with micrometers and calipers as well.
