I have worked at Ortho/Trauma at Bryan Health for 12 years. Along with our trauma patients that we take care of, we would take care of any medical surgical overflow and elective surgeries. I can adapt to change well and am a good recourse for our new Rns to the floor. Within my 12 years on this floor, I have had 7 managers and many coworkers come and go with turn over. I became a primary preceptor on our floor 10 years ago providing a learning environment for my new coworkers. The cliental that we take care of can be very challenging and it was important to me to build up our team and work alongside knowledgeable staff. I have also charged for 11 years. I am well versed in conflict resolution with the stressful cases we bring in. In my experience most conflicts are due to a drop in communication. I work very well with all my coworkers and have provided empathetic care to all my patients.
