Chelee Van Deventer

My name is Chélee. I am an 18-year-old South African female that matriculated from high school in 2024. I speak two languages: My home language, which is English, and my second, which is Afrikaans. I am passionate about ballroom dancing, etiquette, social protocols, elegance, antique decor, history and music. I am truly passionate about dressing elegantly, and the Victorian era. I Iove to learn about different cultures and traditions. I also love vintage cars. I am inspired by event planners and designers from all over the world, who work with high profile clients. Seeing their creations really motivates me to join that industry. I would love to build a career in elite event planning and design. If I could go out every night dancing to either folk or ballroom, I would. I did ballroom dancing for a while as my hobby. I love talking to elderly people and helping out when needed. I love hearing their stories and playing board games to keep them company.
