Accomplishments

  • Revamped 8-year operation—Twice promoted within a one-year period to assume responsibilities of three previous full time management positions and brought increased return clients and increased revenue while simultaneously decreasing costs associated with drug testing, overtime pay, employee turnover, negotiating prices and purchasing. Lowered operating costs by over $40,000 (equivalent to 10%) in a one-year period.
  • Opened new restaurant from the ground up—Assumed General Manager position for a privately owned dessert focused full-service restaurant and bar. After delayed openings, recruited, trained, and evaluated FOH and BOH staff of 30+. Created documents, spreadsheets, forms, retail dessert/wine, and bar menus, acting as a liaison between the owner and all other staff members, providing motivation and overall organization. Negotiated all contracts with individual vendors and organized events/musician performances.

  • Increased morale among staff by creating team-building strategies and initiating incentives.
