Highlights

  • In 2020 I coordinated the grand opening of the second highest volume store in company history. Achievements for the location consisted of; $24.93 average sales per customer, record furniture sales, and exceeding the previous year's sales (of two locations). I lead the management team to train and develop over twenty new employees. I overseen and developed the layout, merchandising flow, and placement of fixtures; as well as coordinated all color selections for interior including the counters, ceilings, walls, slat wall, and stained concrete floor. The company combined two stores into one 21,000 sq. ft. store, with a sales increase of 6% in one location in 2019 that was open for eight months, vs two stores for 12 months of sales in 2018. The New Goods sales increased by 32%, which includes new furniture, mattresses, and purchased, and repurchased goods.
  • In 2018, I developed a new furniture and mattress program; becoming the lead buyer. While developing this role I researched and developed relationships with furniture vendors that resulted in the growth of furniture sales by over $200,000 in 2019.
  • Commercial Mattress Sales – Led and developed price points and a relationship with the vendor and local university. Over four hundred mattresses sold in the first year and over five hundred sold in the second year.
  • Built a relationship with Progressive Leasing to offer leasing options to customers.
  • Oversaw online operations of Licking/Knox Goodwill as part of shopgoodwill.com and goodwill2go.com.
  • Created content and marketing material for the retail website of Licking/Knox Goodwill part of shopgoodwill.com and goodwill2go.com.
  • Goodwill2go.com – Assisted with the development of product mix and layout for launch. The website is now only used for advertising purposes by the marketing department.
  • Reestablished relationships with multiple vendors and expanded to partnering with new vendors.
