I believe my adaptability and leadership skills are qualities that make me stand out. Adapting myself to a new environment, culture and surroundings taught me how to embrace changes and utilize these factors to grow me as a person. My leadership skills can be proven through multiple clubs I take lead in on and off of campus. My ability to work behind the scenes and put all my effort for the team's success is a significant quality I have.

As a volunteer at the St.Jude hospital, I helped the sepsis floor of the hospital. My main role was to assist the secretary and the nurses. For example, I often visited the central service department to bring any medical items needed by the nurses and also fill up the isolation carts for the new patients. Moreover, I got to close care various patients where I bring in their lunch, discharge them or take them around the hospital. Mostly, I took down samples to the lab at the hospital where I helped laboratory technicians identifying the samples of the patients. I learned how to use certain machines, record logs and more.
I was in charge of coordinating with the instructor of the book camp at the time. We would select a book of the week to read with kids ages of 7-10 years old. Then, an activity to engage with the story and a simple book report that we would review and give feedbacks to improve their writing skills.
On campus, I have created a multi-cultural society club during 9th grade. The clube was founded for the purpose of bringing cultural awareness on campus and opening the boundaries among students.
