24-bed unit; Intermediate Care unit (IMC) patient-nurse ratio 3-4:1; float to other IMC/medsurg/tele units as needed
Oversee nursing students in groups of 5-10 during clinical hours.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Manage student/nurse assignments for each student within the cohort.
Plan and implement discussion based lesson plans for a portion of each clinical day
Provide clear and constructive feedback to students individually and as a group
Analyze and grade a multitude of assignments including care plans, presentations, head-to-toe assessments, and more
Facilitate learning opportunities within the clinical setting
Maintain and communicate clear and organized expectations of clinical details
40 bed unit
Cardiac/Med/Surg/Tele
Float to other Med/Surg/Tele and PCU as needed
Charge Nurse 1-3 shifts per week; patient to nurse ratio 5-6:1
