Over the past year I stepped away from my traditional job to be the care provider/care manager for my cousin while she battled stage 4 breast cancer. During this time I managed Doctors appointments, therapy, medications, advocating for her needs, DME and provided support to the family through her this difficult time. After she passed I continued to provide support to her husband and children through this transition and helped him set up benefits and resources for the children and himself.
