Experienced prototype and assembly technician with a strong background in mechanical/electrical assembly, quality control, and problem-solving. Known for accurate builds, fast troubleshooting, and clear communication with engineers to improve product design and reduce rework. Experience in reading blueprints, and electrical schematics. Experience in wiring panels, as well as the units on the floor in production. Experience in running departments to ensure the quality is of the standards set by my employer. Has an eye for detail.
I have been employed by Modine for almost 12 years. During this time I have been qualified in several departments. From 2015-2021 at the Buena Vista location, I passed my qualifications for the Bent Tube Line and the HotDawg line. During the tenure of these lines management also saw it fit to get a forktruck certification as well. These lines allowed me to further escalate my qualification to the Airedale line, of which I spent many of my summers. Upon winning the job bid to transfer to the Lexington location I have since learned the following departments/skills: v-coils assembly, panel build, panel wire, line wire, loom build, as well as building the multiple styles of boxes that control power quality and motor control systems for the chillers. I am not only capable myself, but also have the skillset and prior experience to teach others how to read blueprints and schematics, along with troubleshooting skills. I strive for excellence in the quality I give my employer to the point of always looking for ways to improve our aesthetics and efficiency. I am able to lead others in the right path to ensure the best of the best product. I also have experience as a working-lead at Lexington before they restructured the positions. While in this position I became skilled in SAP usage and other computer-based programs like Word and Excel.
