A Dedicated Education Specialist with a decade of experience in diverse educational settings.

Focused on delivering targeted data- driven and evidence-based interventions such as; Leveled .Literacy Intervention, Orton.Gillingham, Cognitive Guided Instruction, Excel Math, and techniques for effective behavior management Crisis Prevention Intervention to K-6th grade students.

I am responsible for conducting assessments such as ; The WIAT-III, GORT, Woodcock Johnson IV, YCAT, and KTEA-III.

As case manager I manage all IEP meetings and those who are part of the team such as; speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, teachers, and parents.

I am passionate about inclusive learning environments that support academic, social, and emotional development for all students when appropriate.

Collaboration with fellow K-6th grade teachers, instructional aides to support in modification of curriculum and instructional techniques. I also collaborate with parents to address concerns and ensure they understand special education and are heard.

It is extremely important to support not only Special Education students, but all student population, supporting and aligning with K-6 Common Core Standards.

I had the opportunity to collaborate alongside with the districts TOSA as well the authors, Jackie and Richard Thousand (Co-teaching experts) to establish, teach, and support teachers, instructional aides and principals the value and implementation of Co-Teaching.
