  • Operated multiple fabricating machines, I was one of the few on the team proficient with manual and automatic sewing machines. They would require each member of the team to learn two pieces and that's what they would work on all day. Due to my speed and ability to learn quickly I was proficient in roughly 24 pieces and helped with spacial projects.
  • If the company needed to build a prototype I was consistently one of the few trusted to sew and construct the piece or handle sensitive materials.
  • Our pay was based on our pace, requiring us to learn vital time managing skills. I became so proficient when the company would bring on a new product, they would have me learn how to sew multiple pieces so they could time me and base the companies pay for that piece on my speed.
  • I was frequently tasked in training new hires, if they fell behind I would typically add their quota to mine to help maintain production goals.

  • I was originally hired on as a production utility since this was my first factory job, however I was roughly a month into my probation period when management noticed me and started training me for a leadership position instead. Once I was trained the other Line lead quit and a few months later so did the Line supervisor so I was tasked with filling the roll of my supervisor and training another line lead.
  • I was responsible for determining what product we could change over to based on our current orders, and what product change overs would be considered an allergen. If it was an allergen I lead the wet wash sanitation for each machine required for sanitation.
  • Looked through work orders to determine type and quantity of materials needed for each production batch.
  • Used daily system logs to document production information, discussing issues with management, QA as well as production.
