  • Responsible for monitoring the patient's heart rhythm and O2 saturation once the nursing staff attaches the patient to the telemetry unit.
  • Measuring the rhythm twice a shift, and documenting the measurements in the chart accordingly.
  • Alert staff of rhythm or O2 abnormalities in a timely manner.
  • Provide daily printouts of each patient's rhythm strip by scanning them into the appropriate chart, or bringing them to the nursing staff.
