With the experience of my previous successful accepted commercials, I started to continue shooting commercials for other products. I also shot commercials for Smoosat for their scooter and Fantikk for their multifunctional electronic pump, as well as multifunctional mobile power. On these projects, I was still responsible for almost all production aspects, scripting, directing, shooting, lighting, editing, color grading.
In this project, my partner and I got to shoot a commercial for Miclon electric bikes. I was in charge of all the shooting work in this project, from script writing to sub-camera design, to final editing and color grading. This was my first time working on a commercial.
This five-minute short film was my first independent production of a film. I do the script, directing, shooting (camera number one), Voice recording, editing and color grading the film myself. Although the short film was not mature, it allowed me to learn about the various aspects of filmmaking on my own.
It was a two-month summer internship. At first, I was a camera assistant, and I was responsible for helping the main cameraman with various recordings, such as large stage productions. I was usually responsible for helping to move the dolly, calibrate the white balance for each camera position, and carrying a lot of miscellaneous stuff. After a month, I joined the interview team, where in addition to helping the cameraman, I also helped the lighting guy set up the lighting and sometimes I needed to help with the voice recording. In the last half month of my internship, our TV station needed to record a very important large-scale outdoor stage play, "Thousand-year's promise to Kunlun". I was given a separate location to shoot a panoramic shot from a high spot, which I did on my own.
This is a one-month internship. It was my first internship, and although I didn't get a job related to my major at that time, it was my first time to be a leader in my job. I was responsible for leading our group of 6 people to organize and organize the files.
