Highly motivated production worker with an interest in progressing into a new area of the manufacturing industry. My desire is to be involved in the planning, scheduling, and finances. I have 10 years manufacturing experience as an operator. I also have 12 years experience in the retail and restaurant industry, most of which in a supervisory role. I have an Associate degree in Accounting, a Certificate in General Accounting, and I am
pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. While I may lack some necessary experience, my motivation, eagerness to learn, and level of pride in my work will prove worthy.
I am trained to operate 3 of the 4 mainline slitters, as well as the rewinders in the rework area to create quality rolls of performance tapes. I setup the machines to create slit rolls per job specification. This requires using the proper materials, types of knives, tension settings, slit widths and roll orientation. I maintain the machines and the work areas by following 5S techniques and performing planned maintenance duties.
I operated a double-bevel lathe to create a variety of rubber gaskets. I performed machine setup duties to control the depth and angles of the blades per customer specifications. I performed regular machine maintenance as well as operated the blade sharpener to ensure quality cuts. FInally, I packaged products and prepared for shipment.
I was qualified on several steps of the assembly line process to paint, valve and finalize steel tanks per job specifications. I operated the wet paint booth by maintaining and setting up the spray paint guns and lines. I used an industrial machine to install valves.
