I served our country from 1991 through 2011 in the US Navy. Through the years I've been on active duty inactive duty and also a reservist. I was trained as a Hospital Corpsmen. Through my training I was responsible for daily nursing needs of our veterans and enlisted members. This care could be as simple as taking a temperature or saving a life in a war zone. As corpsmen our responsibility could accurately be described as a nurse in civilian life. I was honorably discharged when my service was completed.
