As an independent Physical Therapist home based contractor, I was responsible for assessing new clients in the Early Intervention System to determine their needs for Physical Therapy services. Once assigned to a case, it was my responsibility to develop a comprehensive treatment plan to address their individual physical challenges. I worked as part of a team of experts to provide an overall treatment plan to provide global improvements for each specific child.
At the end of the prescribed treatment period (0-3 yrs) I made recommendations for Physical Therapy services to continue within the school system as needed.
