Daisy award nominee

I was honored to be nominated for the Daisy Award after caring for a patient and their family during one of the toughest times in their lives. They shared that I helped them feel safe and comforted, not just through the care I provided, but through the way I listened and supported them emotionally. I made sure they understood what was happening every step of the way and created a space where they felt cared for and not alone. The nomination meant a lot because it reminded me that even small moments of compassion can make a big difference. It reaffirmed why I became a nurse—to be a source of strength and comfort when patients and families need it most.
