Mentored and developed special education teacher candidates according to CTC requirements and National University program guidelines. Reviewed each teacher candidate's weekly lesson plans and observed candidate a minimum of 6 times per semester in the classroom setting assigned to the candidate.

Conducted ongoing communication with cooperating teachers and faculty advisors. Attending any required meetings and trainings. Wrote evaluations and any required documents in a timely manner to meet deadlines.

Taught high school special education students with a range of disabilities

including developmental disabilities and autism at Folsom High School. Wrote and tracked each student's IEP goals to ensure they were met.

Taught students in elementary school as an inclusion teacher. Differentiated students' instruction and developed their IEP goals. Tracked each student's IEP goals in order to ensure these goals were met.
