  • 2015-2018 Served as part-time librarian and cataloger, customer service, money handling.
  • 2018-2021. Part time Librarian/Cataloger/Manage all incoming shipments and maintain invoice book, train new staff, customer service and money handling. From 2018-2019 handled the courier area.
  • 2021-2025 Promoted to Full time Cataloger/Programming Coordinator/Manage all incoming shipments and maintain invoice book, train staff on Basic cataloging, assist the director in various duties when requested . I do monthly reports such as cataloging, transit , and hopeless holds reports, I fill in at the circulation desk when librarians are doing story time. Manage the Library social media account. I attend monthly cataloging and circulation zoom meetings. I became basic and advanced certified in RDA cataloging in 2022 and I am recertified every other year..
  • 2025- Current Promoted to Assistant Director and take care of all advanced cataloging. I attend monthly board meetings. I continue doing the Library social media account and managing all incoming shipments and maintain the invoice book. Counting monthly deposits. I have been trained on numerous duties of the director’s office. I am trained on payroll, bill, paying, rounds, ordering supplies/materials. I continue attending catalog and circulation Zoom meetings each month, I continue to do the catalog, hopeless holds, and transit reports. I also now do the overdue and our Mala reports. I sit in on new hire interviews and the new staff procedures. Training on State grants and the procedures involved. In the Directors absence I fill in to maintain staff, payroll, bills, deposits and any other issues that may arise. I continue to maintain my Advanced Cataloger certification every other year. The Director has done her best to train me or show me every area of the Directors job to prepare me as best she can for the duties of the Director position when she retires.
