Steel Pipeline Construction

  • Over 20 years supervising both direct employees and contractors installing, maintaining and repairing HP/MP/SP steel distribution piping.

OQ compliance

  • Over 15 years of operational excellence developing and overseeing Operator Qualification programs and covered tasks encompassing over 800 gas employees. Auditing Contractor Programs and performing peer reviews to AGA members to ensure 49 CFR 192 subpart L, M & N compliance – including Subpart E Welding.

Safety

  • Specialist providing safety oversight of Construction of a Meter and Regulation Station and Ethanol Carbon Capture facility in Nebraska. Promoted safety ownership to Management and field employees. Performed daily and weekly Activity Hazard Analysis, provided active approach to monthly safety meetings. Lead Activity Hazard Analysis, Daily Job Briefings, Work site observations, Reports and Safety Action Plans. Took a proactive approach to ensuring lowering of OSHA Recordables and high loss incidents. Assisted in any other functions as required by Management. Public Safety Liaison

  • Served as Public Safety Liaison for Safety Programs in Michigan ensuring company and OHSA Safety regulations were represented in procedures and field activities including field audits. Ensured a safe and welcoming environment for all employees, patrons, and community members. Enforced facility rules, policies, and contacted additional resources, such as Law Enforcement, Fire and First Responders as needed. Acquired OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification-20-602137175. Performed safety audits of company and contracted crews – excavation, PPE, fire prevention, equipment checks, etc.

Plastic Fusion (Distribution Lines and Services)

  • Over 20 years supervising plastic fusion construction and maintenance, including overseeing train the trainer programs on Heat/Electrofusion/Hydraulic fusion equipment.

Gas Regulation/Metering

  • Over 10 years supervising gas regulation and metering employees including meter move-out programs and commercial/industrial.

Pipe Coating

  • As well as OQ regarding pipe coatings, supervised direct and contracted employees applying various coatings to company and manufacturer procedures.

Excavation Safety/ROW

  • Supervised construction activities, backfilling, installation of pipe, signage, and pertinent regulated safety requirements.

Engineering

  • Engineered Electric and Gas facilities both for residential and commercial customers providing power of overhead and underground facilities.
