  • Signed out surgical pathology and cytopathology cases (FNA, non-gynecologic, Thin Prep paps) on a regular basis. This is a high volume practice and primary sign out day for surgical pathology often required looking at 50-55 cases a day.
  • Typical case load for surgical pathology included GI biopsies, breast biopsies, gynecologic biopsies, GU biopsies as well as larger resections including breast, lung, colon, bladder, and prostate.
  • Frozen sections cases included brain, lymph nodes, skin, and lung.
