I started in this field in 2019, working in a high behavior home supporting multiple individuals with ABA supports. I became a lead staff after 5 months of being with the company, I take great pride in my work ethic and ability to help out where needed with my open schedule I am able to put my 100% effort into my job, while still having a good work and home life balance.
As an assistant manger I followed the role as a DSP while also doing administrative duties such as update contact list, safety checks, fire drills, vehicle safety checks and I’m on-call for staff on weekends. I would do medical checklists for the home to ensure all the proper medication is in the home and in a clean environment. I helped with Medical QA's, monthly behavioral summaries and Financial audits.
At ASI I work in a high medical low behavioral home I have supported individuals with positive behavior support plans. I assist with hygiene, cooking and cleaning the home, I help administer medication.
Working at Rise I worked in high behavior residential homes with individuals that have behavioral support plans including ABA supports. I assist with hygiene, cooking and cleaning the home, I help administer medication taking vital signs, I also do admin work where I make the house menus, update contact list, safety checks, fire drills, vehicle safety checks and I’m on-call for staff on weekends. I also have experience in supported living where I help individuals with daily living such as paying bill, grocery shopping, and budget planning. I also do admin work in supported living as well such as home visits, and filing client field binder for licensing.
